The education system is constantly changing. More areas are becoming digitalized and the way achievements are displayed is no different. For years, Rocket Alumni Solutions has been working with schools to create a touchscreen hall of fame. Some might think this strictly means promoting athletics, however, over the years various schools have been utilizing Rocket’s technology to advance recognition of other aspects of the education system.

Academic Achievements

Being a school that proudly showcases their academics is incredibly influential to a community. Students are motivated to continue to do well, parents and guardians feel confident in their child’s education and teachers are reassured that their work is paying off. Numerous schools are using Rocket’s digital wall of fame to highlight academics at their schools. Central Catholic (IN) uses their platform to list off all the past valedictorians for their school. St. John's Jesuit High School (OH) utilizes the technology to display historic class composites that date back to 1928. Similarly, Bayside High School (VA) has almost every yearbook from 1966 to 2023 shown throughout their website. Another academic aspect that Rocket has seen clients use is putting emphasis on students of the month or year, Holmen High School (WI) does this well. By doing this, these schools are finding a way to be inclusive to any and all students within their system.

Arts and Culture

Many students thrive through their artistic capabilities, which is not something that should be overlooked. Rocket has a keen interest in helping students’ work be published for everyone to see. Pontiac Township High School District 90 (IL) has a specific section on their interactive display to honor the exemplary artistic talents. Junipero Serra High School (CA) presents their play programs as a way to commemorate the work put into putting on the performance. Arcadia High School (WI) has a whole section dedicated to fine arts. There, viewers can find subfolders specified for music, performing arts and visual arts. Throughout those folders list of past plays, notable alumni and more can be found. These schools, along with many others, are creating a space devoted to sharing their student’s artistic creations.

Alumni & Fundraising

There is a high level of importance from schools to properly value their esteem alumni and donors. Dickinson State University (ND) has a booster club subcategory on their electronic board to show appreciation for all the organization has done. Nobles and Greenough School (MA) grants alumni various awards, for which they use Rocket to display past the recipients. Burlington Sports Hall of Fame (ON) shows acknowledgement to their sponsors and donors by creating a category for them. Having these sections on a site is shown to be vital for schools and organizations who have made positive impacts.

While many choose to use Rocket as a tool to pay tribute to their students, it does not have to stop there. Schools have found Rocket to be integral in helping them honor their faculty, staff facilities and other parts of the schools. Orange Lutheran High School (CA) has a list of their athletic facilities, containing photos for visual appeal and descriptions so the audience knows exactly what the area is used for. Holmen High School (WI), again, shows how Rocket can be utilized to appreciate others in their school by having a folder committed to their faculty. This can show how much the employees are valued. North Marion High School (WV) does something similar by presenting their past principles for all to see. Dartmouth College's Blunt Alumni Center (NH) incorporated a directory in their site that lists off the faculty of departments, with biographies and office numbers. By having these innovative aspects less confusion is created since it is entirely beneficial to new members of the community.
