I wanted to share our veterans page with you. I actually won teacher of the year last year for bringing this program to the high school and community. We put out Facebook posts every few months asking the community to send me photos and service records of their or family members military service. We are basically archiving every alumni who has served. I have been given entire classes that revolve around using "the board" as we call it. The possibilities are endless. It has been a way to categorize and archive the history of our school. We will celebrate our towns 150th birthday next year and we plan to take a mobile board downtown to showcase the history of our school for this celebration. I also recently was the featured speaker at a district wide school board meeting and was able to showcase "the board" to everyone and received so much positive feedback.
We researched several platforms and selected the Rocket team because of the ease of the user interface, end-user flexibility with the design, and responsiveness of the team. Multiple department heads have access to add material and it has been wonderful to see the creativity and stories come to life for so many things we would have never imagined.
Converting our hall of fame to digital provides a cutting-edge experience for our school community. The ability to house our hall of fame, athletics information, and performance art information in one spot has been advantageous. It feels like we are just scratching the surface in terms of value and usability. Can't wait to continue to build it out.

Without a doubt in my mind I can tell you that Rocket's framework is the way of the future in touchscreen displays. As someone who is very thorough, technologically savvy, and a technological native myself, I had Zoom calls with multiple interactive display companies before contracting with one, and none of them compare with the flexibility and innovativeness of Rocket. The autosave, Google-like framework, and flexibility of the software program is what sets it apart. Most other companies require you to build a software program that is preset with the tabs and settings, and if you want to change or add to those tabs it is an additional fee and a hassle to change. With Rocket you essentially control anything and everything live and from the cloud. Personally, my school has two monitors, and we wanted to have one set with a screensaver/homescreen that would cycle through veterans on our Wall of Honor, and we wanted the other screensaver/homescreen to be set to cycle through our school Hall of Fame members. Chase had not been approached with this type of request in the past, but he said we would make it happen. The next virtual meeting I had with him he had the solution and our screens will be able to do just what we asked. While my experience with Rocket has not been over a long period of time, I can assure you that I am a good judge of individuals, their passion for something, and most importantly their character. In working with Rocket it is easy to see the business is on the way UP. With their passion for what they are doing, paired with their ability to incorporate the everchanging and new technologies, Rocket will only continue to grow and become a name well-recognized throughout the US. Rocket Alumni built our community's Sports Wall of Fame touchscreen in a matter of days to our specifications with photos and biographies for 58 athletes and a Community Service Award which required a creative approach. From start to finish the team was friendly, responsive and receptive to suggestions. Their goal was to ensure we had a finished product that we would be proud to share with the public. Even months after the job was complete they are always just an email away to answer questions. They continue to work on creative new ideas to enhance their customers' presentations. I would not hesitate to recommend Rocket Alumni for any touchscreen projects.

We have expanded our "Wall of Fame" to not only include the members of our athletic hall of fame, but to also include current and past student-athletes that have received various awards. The flexibility of the software allows us to separate those awards into different categories and to include both pictures and video clips along with text to really highlight everyone's accomplishments. Content creation could not be easier and there are multiple layout options so each page can have a unique look. Rocket has given us a chance to display not only our Hall of Fame members but also a lot of historical data about our school. We have past school newspapers, yearly sports records and pictures of our facilities from over 100 years ago.
They are small enough to know us yet big enough to serve us.
Our experience searching for a software provider for the North Dakota Aviation Hall of Fame lead us to the Rocket Alumni Solutions software. We compared a variety of software solutions including hosted and hardcoded solutions. Given our preference to deploy approximately 10 machines, the ease of updating the site was a critical component for our group. This combined with the ease of initial setup were the two primary factors impacting our decision. Our initial timeline had us beginning a deployment process sometime this summer with it taking up to a year for full deployment. After choosing Rocket and selecting a hardware vendor, we are ready to deploy our first site and simply need to order hardware for the remaining locations, allowing us to have a fully deployed system in less than 1 month (really less than 1 week if my schedule would have allowed). The Rocket Alumni Solutions team has been extremely responsive and is always willing to listen to new ideas. The ease of the CMS has allowed us to provide a professional kiosk environment with minimal knowledge and experience. Our system looks to have been designed by professionals, but I have no experience in this realm. I am especially pleased to be able to quickly and easily update all of our sites (as they are deployed) with just a few keystrokes and not having to physically touch each piece of hardware.
