University of Maryland: Showing Diverse Talents

A huge user of Rocket is the University of Maryland, who has four digital award recognition platforms. One of the ways Maryland utilizes the Rocket product is to highlight their athletic department. Various sports teams are featured on their site including women’s soccer, men’s soccer, track and field, baseball, with basketball content coming soon. The type of information on each sport ranges from current and historical rosters, notable alumni, hall of fame and much more. Another aspect of their university that Maryland brings attention to through Rocket is their college of journalism. Like the athletic focus site, this platform has a hall of fame along with a directory to the employees currently working in the college. A third way Maryland chooses to interact with their students with Rocket is by creating a separate virtual academic center. This entails several folders dedicated to the events happening on campus, a resource guide, tutoring information, academic awards and more. The fourth example of Maryland has uplifted their students by working with Rocket is having a site committed to helping student-athletes with their post-graduation careers. Included in the platform is information on their mentorship program, newsletters, student-athlete advisory committee, and numerous other sections. Rockford University: Elevating Athletic Recognition 

One of Rocket’s oldest users is Rockford University. Rockford has been utilizing Rocket since June 2020 to honor their past and current athletes. Rockford’s virtual award recognition platform has been able to increase the amount of information they put out to their audience. When one enters Rockford’s award recognition system they are welcomed by an abundance of options to choose from. Examples include a hall of fame, an All-American folder, a section with every player of the week, and many other useful tools throughout the interactive award kiosk. For years Rockford has become a prime client for Rocket and has shown how impactful the product can be to a community.

Hermitage’s interactive hall of fame features various parts of their education institution. One of the most impressive parts of their technology is their academics folder. With subfolders containing information on valedictorians and salutatorians, magna and summa cum laude recipients, and academic state winners, Hermitage works to pay homage to all academic areas. Joining Rocket in 2022, Seneca East Local Schools have been virtually showcasing all the aspects of their education system. There are folders dedicated to veterans, academics, athletics, award recipients, performing arts, yearbooks, and much more.
